Rim Cylinder

Commonly found on wooden doors and used in conjunction with a Nightlatch
Euro Cylinder
​
Found on UPVC, composite, metal wooden doors. Also comes in a half size for use on garage doors and with a thumb turn for areas such as fire escapes.
Oval Cylinder
​
Similar to the Euro cylinder but oval in shape. Also comes in half sizes and with a thumb turn. Often found in older wooden and aluminium doors
Nightlatch
​
Found on the rear of wooden doors and used with a Rim cylinder.
Sashlock
​
Mainly found on wooden doors. Available in 2,3,5 & 5 lever British Standard variants.
The British Standard variant will feature the kite mark and is required to meet insurance standards.
Deadlocks
​
Found in wooden doors and similar in design to Sashlocks, however they do not feature a handle. Often used to upgrade security on old wooden doors to meet modern insurance standards
Rim Mortice Lock
​
Often found on shed and out house doors they provide a very basic level of security. These locks are not suitable for securing exterior doors in a house.
Cam Lock
​
Cam locks have multiple uses including apartment post boxes, roof racks and notice boards. Higher security version with a radial key are often used on vending machines.
